The fifth grade teachers nominated Iliyah because she is a very dedicated and hardworking student. She puts quality and detail into every subject area.
Iliyah perseveres through academic challenges with a smile and has a growth mindset.
She shows kindness and works cooperatively with all of her classmates.
Iliyah was chosen as her classroom's Student Council Representative for the 22-23 school year. She has shown leadership skills and is always looking for ways to help.
Most recently she was chosen as the emcee for the Veteran's Day Assembly and she was well rehearsed, poised, and a great role model for younger students in the audience.
