This year, Marie was a new student at DuJardin. From the first day of school, Marie quickly formed friendships with all students in her classroom and the entire grade level. It can be difficult to switch schools during your last year in elementary school but Marie was up for the challenge and fit in with her peers from the very first day.
Marie came to DuJardin ready to learn and was a friend to all right from the start. Marie takes pride in the work she does and always demonstrates positive behaviors. She looks out for others and truly has the biggest heart.
Marie has made outstanding growth in all subjects throughout this school year and is dedicated to being the best student she can possibly be. Marie looks for ways to extend her learning and helps others whenever an opportunity arises.
Marie is outgoing and kind to all of her peers and teachers. She actively takes part in class discussions and provides meaningful feedback to classmates. Marie’s peers look at her as someone they can count on and trust.
Marie constantly sets a great example for others with her leadership skills, positive attitude, and smile.
For being a focused student, a friend to all, and for being so positive in her first year at DuJardin Elementary, the Board of Education recognizes Marie Devore with the Above and Beyond award for March.
